China. Rehabilitation in Shaolin.
In December 2010 Dr.Vorobiev returned from China. Purpose of the trip was to visit our two former patients, who are currently undergoing rehabilitation program in China, to discuss with our Chinese counterparts possibility of future cooperation, some issues of introducing elements of Chinese rehabilitation system in our
Russian clinics. This collaboration began with a casual acquaintance. The family of successful Arab businessman's son sent him after passing in-hospital treatment in Russia to China, to the Shaolin Temple famous for its rehabilitation programs. It turned out that the ancient monastery has long been helping many people from around the world to find peace and harmony in their minds, to understand how to live a new, sober life, to forget drug and alcohol nightmare. Intrigued by patient's family story, Dr. Vorobyov went to China to get more information about programs and terms of rehabilitation. Trip proved to be fruitful. Treatment techniques used in our clinic have been revealed to Chinese doctors. And their approach to restoration of human psyche impaired by drugs has opened new opportunities for us.
