Consultation and Admission
From your first phone call or email to our clinic to the patient’s last day in our care, holistic and personalized recovery plans lay the groundwork for treatment.
During your first call to our clinic, you will be guided through a free, initial consultation. During this conversation, we will ask you to share the details of your individual situation, and make suggestions for an initial treatment plan.
Upon agreement to a plan, a contract is drafted and a date for admission to the clinic is set. (The patient will be provided with daily examinations by our physicians to ensure that the treatment plan remains appropriate and effective; alterations will be made accordingly.)
Upon request (and free of charge), a staff person meets the patient at the airport or train station and provides transportation to the clinic. Upon arrival at the clinic, a doctor quickly arrives to begin an initial assessment.

Comfortable Daily Living
Pain management is essential. If the patient is experiencing painful symptoms of withdrawal, treatment is immediately provided to ease the discomfort. More information on the clinic’s approach to detoxification can be found here.
Shortly after arrival, the patient is introduced to his room. Most rooms are double occupancy, and all provide a private bathroom, air conditioning, and cable television. Single rooms can be arranged by special agreement. Table-tennis, billiards, and video game systems are provided for the patient’s enjoyment. Some clinics provide a swimming pool, sauna, and gymnasium.
Meals are served four times daily, prepared specially by the clinic’s own kitchen staff. Religious beliefs, illnesses and allergies are all taken into account when preparing food. Patients are free to order any other foods s/he might desire from local grocery stores.
In addition to traditional group and individual therapy, sessions of yoga therapy are conducted, aimed at heightening the patient’s vitality and will power. During the second stage of the treatment patients are taken to the movies, museums, the zoo and the botanical gardens. Parts of the treatment take place outside of the clinic’s walls.
Concluding Treatment
In-patient treatment at the clinic is concluded with an examination of the results and discussion of the future. Patients are discharged and given an out-patient treatment plan.
Continuity of care and out-patient support are important to maintaining a long-term recovery. After discharge, the patient begins an at-home program, with regular doctor visits or telephone check-ups. Short-term, in-patient followup care can be provided if the need arises.
